SENSEX FALLS ON CRUDE AND INFLATION CONCERN

Shares ended lower on Thursday on profit

taking amid today's rise in crude oil prices and

expectation of a higher inflation rates

The Bombay Stock Exchange's 30 stock

sensitive index fell 150.76 points or 1 % to

14899.10.

On the National Stock Exchange the 50 stock

S&P Nifty lost 56.25 points or 1.3 % to

4447.75.

LOSERS OF THE DAY

Reliance Industries and ONGC led the fall.

Reliance industries declined by 2.8 %to Rs 2152.65.

ONGC fell 3 % to Rs 1068.85.

Larsen and Toubro fell 0.3 % to Rs 2671.75.

Bharati Airtel fell 1 % to Rs 826.65.
